The ‘’Loch Ness’’ of Newfoundland

 Just a short post today.

Since I had some time today I ducked off the TCH and drove to a couple of coastal villages. The first was Roberts Arm, or as the locals like to call it The ‘’Loch Ness’’ of Newfoundland,

and the second, Triton, where I saw some large aquaculture installations like this one in sheltered bays.

Tonight I am staying at The Glynmill Inn a well maintained establishment that was built in the early 1920’s to house the workers who were building a mill here but was then turned into a classic inn here in Corner Brook.

Tomorrow is my last full day in Newfoundland. I will be riding to Port-aux-Basques with a side trip to Cape Saint George if the weather permits.
